Margareth Madè (22 June 1982, Paternò, Italy) born Margareth Tamara Maccarrone is an italian model [1] and actress. She uses her artist name because her own surname "Maccarrone" has too many associations with pasta. [2]
Madè was born in Paternò to an Italian father and an Egyptian mother, but grew up in Adrano and Pachino.[3] She began her modelling career at the age of 15 and in 2000 she won a contest New Model Today organised by WhyNot Agency in Milan. She takes parts in various international fashionshows and televisionprograms like Donna sotto le stelle (2000/2002) and La Kore (2002), both broadcasted by Rai Uno. She also did some publicity campaigns.[4]
After studying acting she is chosen by Giuseppe Tornatore for the part of Mannina in Baaria. After that, she plays the role of Sofia Loren[5] in the miniserie La mia casa è piena di specchi, broadcasted in 2010 by Rai Uno
